In order to fulfill this position, A-Plant has implemented and operated bespoke software solutions designed and built to drive the business forward over the past 30 years.We now have an opportunity for a Software Developer Team Leader in our team based at our Warrington Support Office on Birchwood Business Park. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing these internal and customer-facing, business-critical and innovative applications, in both new and legacy technologies where appropriate. You will also provide exceptional technical support over these applications to ensure any faults are quickly and effectively resolved.In the Dev Lead role, you will have people management skills as your role will be approx. 30% managerial and 70% hands-on technical. You will have line management responsibility for members of your team, along with project/sprint deliveries. You will be expected to support and mentor your team and lead on the architectural designs of our platforms at both a design/delivery and pre-sales phases.A-Plant operates a bespoke Agile framework based around SCRUM and KANBAN wrapped with Waterfall project management principles at a program level to ensure the correct prioritisation and scoping of deliverables. You will be expected to be involved in the normal sprint cycles and planning/review sessions as well as the iterative build, test, and deployment as part of your relevant delivery team.About The CandidateYou will need to be Degree Level qualified or above in a related subject (Computer Science etc.) or have demonstrable experience with Professional Certification in relevant technologies.You will have demonstrable knowledge and abilities in relevant web technologies :
