We currently have a vacancy for a HSE Business Partner to work within our Lubricants and Engineering departments at our Warrington office, Working 37.5 hrs per week Monday – Friday on a permanent basis. The role will include travel on a frequent basis throughout the UK and will include overnights stays and potential for future travel around Europe when required.As a HSE Business Partner you will have an excellent opportunity to gain experience and grow within the UKs largest independent retailer of fuels and lubricants.This unique opportunity offers the ability to develop within a complex, diverse and commercial organisation. You will be responsible for collaborating and providing an effective and practical HSE Business Partner service to our Lubricants Business Unit and our Engineering projects. This business unit has undergone significant growth through recent acquisitions and has ambitious future strategic growth ahead within the UK and EMEA. The HSE Business Partner will be ideally positioned to build and influence the safety culture and will be involved in future acquisitions and due diligence activities across Europe. As a member of our HSE Business Partner team, you will learn and develop your practical Occupational Safety, Process Safety and Environmental Risk Management knowledge and expertise, including the opportunity to gain HSE qualifications.Specific responsibilities include: - Consult and collaborate with the Lubricant business Leaders, our engineering function and our workforce to ensure that our organisation, through our people, delivers value to shareholders and Multi-national Customers in a safe manner. - Supporting our Safety F1rst behaviour safety project and engage in our safety and wellbeing initiatives. - Offer support and technical guidance to our blending and decanting manufacturing activities to drive high Safety, Process Safety and Environmental Risk Management standards. - Provide HSE support to our Engineering Manager during our engineering projects, Process safety improvements and in developing our Best Practices and standards. - Supporting with change and ongoing continuous improvement projects including the Lubricants strategic growth - Stakeholder management Qualifications and Experience desired:- Graduate or Higher Engineering Apprenticeship or degree level equivalent (Mechanical /Chemical engineering) - Relevant practical experience within manufacturing or energy sectors. - Excellent communication at all level and influencing skills.- Fully computer literate principally in Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint, and confident with databases.- Demonstrable ability to show initiative and work independently where appropriate.- Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial approach- Full UK Driving licenceBenefits provided by Certas include discount schemes, pension scheme and holiday buy and sell options.
