Payroll Specialist - Saint-Gobain UK&ROI - Herald Way, CoventryAre you someone who has great attention to detail, can work to strict deadlines, and loves providing great customer service.The Saint-Gobain HR and Payroll Shared Service Centre are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Team.In the role of Payroll Specialist, you will be involved in one or more of the Saint-Gobain payrolls which span multiply payment dates including weekly and monthly pay frequencies. The primary objective of this role is to ensure our people at Saint-Gobain are paid on time and accurately. Where issues arise, they are dealt with quickly, correctly, and efficiently.Saint-Gobain in the UK and Ireland includes some of the best-known and respected companies in the construction sector including British Gypsum, Weber, Isover, Glassolutions, Saint-Gobain PAM, and Ecophon. Together they offer a range of high-performanceenergy-saving products and solutions to help create great living places and improve daily life.What you will be doing:

  • Pay employees on time and accurately on the specified date, in line with contractual terms and payment frequencies
  • Apply and validate company and Statutory payments of sickness, maternity, and paternity ·
  • Apply and validate Court Orders across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland legislation
  • Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to, and maintained, in line with the business controls, internal and external audit procedures
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation and best practice to ensure a professional service is always provided
What were looking for:
  • Knowledge of manual and computerized payrolls, to include all pay methods and frequencies
  • The ability to work to strict and tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of UK income tax and National Insurance calculations
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate high levels of confidentiality, honesty, and integrity
