We offer a range of wound care technologies and all our products are manufactured in ISO certified clean rooms in line with the highest standardsof care.SFMs aim is to successfully deliver innovative, cost effective and quality products and solutions into the advanced wound care industry with an ultimate aim of improving patient care and wellbeing.Health & Safety and Compliance Manager - The role:The role is part time - 22.5hrs per week, with a salary of Circa £30k, not pro rataCurrently we are looking for a Health & Safety and Compliance Manager to join our business, develop lead, implement plans for excellence in health and safety and compliance to relevant standards.Duties to include: Develop Health & Safety Culture, lead and deliver processes, systems and programmes in line with industry best practice. Develop & Chair H&S committee Conduct site Audits Lead the delivery of health and safety services and associated improvement plans. Undertake PUWER assessments for all equipment on site. Carry out risk assessments for new equipment and existing equipment. Lead, inspire and deliver activities to develop a culture across our business which engages with all health and safety activities. Ensure compliance register and KPIs are reported on monthly. Provide information, training and instruction and task-specific advice to operational and managerial personnel. Contribute to the review and revision of health & safety policies, plans, documented procedures and forms. Facilitate the production of health & safety related performance information, including but not restricted to corporate and health & safety objectives. Promote innovation and continuous improvement. Develop and deliver new starter induction programme. Ensure legal complianceHealth & Safety and Compliance Manager - The Candidate:Key skills / abilities: Qualified to NEBOSH diploma level or equivalent, and with a degree relevant to the process industry (science, medical, engineering, manufacturing or alternative technical discipline). Minimum 10 years as a health and safety professional operating ideally within a large scale, Upper Tier COMAH site. Strong people skills - motivating, influencing, demonstrable experience of delivering change. Experience in compiling environmental permits and managing the process. Qualified to deliver PUWER assessments for industrial / manufacturing equipment.
