As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of education and providing essential support to schools in the absence of regular teaching staff.Position: Cover SupervisorLocation: West SussexContract: Temporary/FlexibleResponsibilities:

Step in as a temporary classroom leader in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring that pre-set work is delivered effectively to students.
Engage and manage students in the learning process, fostering a positive and conducive learning environment.
Uphold school policies and procedures, maintaining discipline and ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver high-quality and engaging lessons across various subjects and year groups.
Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teaching staff as required.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to support the wider school community.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students effectively.
Adaptability and flexibility to work across different schools and year groups.
A positive and enthusiastic approach to education, inspiring students to achieve their best.
An enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
