Job Description Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to work for a lovely company based in the Billingshurst area. The Finance Manager will be working on a part time basis around 24 hours a week. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the dayto day running of the finance function of the business, ensuring the accuracy of the financial data, preparing monthly management accounts, and supporting management with management information. Finance Manager duties include:
  • Maintain accurate nominal ledgers with back-up for audit trail
  • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Budget preparation and profitability analysis
  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Credit control, purchase ledger and sales ledger invoicing
  • Maintaining fixed asset register
  • Ensure corporation tax estimates are accurate
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT return
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual National Statistics returns
Skills and experience required:
  • Proven experience working in a similar role as a Finance Manager
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or experienced QBE
  • Knowledge of SAGE
  • Good understanding of KPIs and gross margin
