Job Description

The Dream JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time or partime permanent Bridal/Prom Consultant, preferably with wedding industry experience to work within a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Romancia are looking to hire on a full time basis although a parttime role would be considered for the right candidate. All working patterns would include weekends and evening work.Your Role.You will be working within a small happy team taking direction from your manager whilst also being confident making individual decisions on a daily basis and taking on basic admin duties.You will be responsible for welcoming your Bride and her entourage or a Prom girl and her family members to the store, advising about styles and helping to make the correct style choices for your client, helping them in and out of dresses and finalisingthe sale. From here on in you will be involved in all aspects of the customer journey from new enquiry to collection of their gown, supplier liaison, & general boutique duties.The welcoming atmosphere & boutiqe visual appearance is of upmost important. You will also be expected to make sure that all dresses are returned to their correct position on the rails prior to welcoming your next customer & generally keeping the boutiqueclean and tidy to the highest of standards for each customer that arrives.Your HoursYou will be required to work an average 4 day week which includes a weekend rota system, evenings, and the possibility of overtime including during our busiest times.What Can You Bring To RomanciaWe would like you to have had some experience in the Wedding industry (although this is not essential)We do require that you have previous retail / sales experience, confident, friendly & calming manner with a good sense of humour and fun personalityYou will have a friendly outgoing personality with a "CANDO" attitudeYou will be required to work at a fast pace in our very busy Prom section and then slow it down for our private Bridal appointments.Why RomanciaRomancia is a well respected leading Wedding and Prom dress boutique in an amazing village location, a detached boutique with enviable space over two floors and a passion for the modern Bride and fashion-conscious Prom girl.
