Job Description

Senior Project Manager required for a growing, vibrant, and personable team. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8am until 5pm. Salary is up to £65,000 depending on experience. Car parking, and additional benefits listed below.Candidates need previous construction project management experience in events, rather than events or construction experience solely. A candidate with previous carpentry experience and developed to a PM level will also be considered.The team are currently working on projects such as stage building and event sets. This is a creative role, therefore requires an individual with a creative flair and desire to problem solve.Duties:

  • Ownership of projects from concept through to completion
  • Creating bespoke sets and environments, tailored to clients brief
  • Briefing designers, sub-contractors and crew, working with the Construction Manager
  • Manage teams out on-site
  • Offer advice and technical design assistance
  • Ensure timely and efficient production and installation
  • Managing budgets, aware of cost of sale and profit margins
  • Regular site visits to project manage the final installation and sign offs
  • Regular interaction with clients, workshop teams, venues, and external partners to update on each stage of the production process
  • Manage projects through the workshop
  • Schedule projects and identify potential shortfalls

Experience:
  • Ability to work on several projects at any one time whilst adhering to changing deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent organisation and management skills
  • Experience in using software and various programmes
