Job Description

Fantastic opportunity to join a start up business in the early stages of growth. Working closely with Directors and partnering with other areas of the business to provide financial expertise, support decision making and assist growthClient DetailsLuxury care home start up providing all bells and whistles from salons, hydro pools and landscaped gardens to bistro cafes and gourmet food. Two 160 and 60 bed care homes currently in the process of being built with the opening date set for early next year, and with a view to continue growing by one care home each year. The company offers a family culture where staff are valued and rewarded.This role will be fully remote for the time being until an office is opened in Essex, around the Billericay area.DescriptionThe Management Accountant will anage the end-to-end process in providing meaningful and accurate information to senior management to aid decision making across the start up business and two investment companies

  • Setting up all financial processes not limited to Purchase Order system, invoice system etc
  • Monthly management accounts for Group businesses
  • Budget plans and coordination
  • Management information reporting
  • Cash flow planning, forecasting, cash balances
  • Development of bank modelling fund packs
  • Business planning
  • Preparing payments
  • Invoice checking
  • VAT returns
  • Payroll preparation
  • Procurement research support
  • Expenses, processing payments, setting up accounts
  • Set up of bank accounts and day to day banking
  • Liaising with Tax Advisors and external Accountants
  • Accounts payable and accounts receiving
  • Debt collection and managing age debt
  • Issuing invoices and direct debits
  • Point of contact for Team and Residents
  • Support to business administrators
  • Resident invoicing and payments
    • ProfileThe successful Management Accountant:
  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Value driven
  • High attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Experience within the industry desirable but not essential
