Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen at Hallmark Care Homes for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team to contribute to Hallmarks ongoing growth and success. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of projectsand must be competent in managing all six aspects of a project, scope, plan, finance, risks, quality and resources. Suitable candidates will have proven IT security, technology and software delivery experience complemented with excellent stakeholder managementskills.The successful candidate will be experienced in leading projects from conception and requirements definition through design, development, deployment and handover into operations.Driving delivery to ensure deadlines are met with appropriate urgency and usingrecognised project management methodology to deliver to the agreed time, cost and quality bringing skills and experience that comes with a mature approach to a complex backdrop and evolving PMO environment.This will initially be a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent role after 12 months. The role will be a hybrid role working out in our care homes, Central Office and home working.Who are we looking for

  • Professional PM certification e.g. APM/PRINCE IIessential
  • 5+ years proven project management delivery experience across the whole project lifecycle, ideally with some of that time in IT SecurityShould include working on more than one project / work package at a time.
  • Demonstrable experience working with IT teams and vendors to execute complex technical change in infrastructure, systems and data Cloud migrationsAny previous experience as a technical engineer or a technical architect would be very beneficial.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills
  • Great understanding of user experience and impact of changeGood financial acumen and budgetary control
  • Business analysis and process mapping skills desirableStrong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Must be able to hit the ground running and take over in flight work
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work through ambiguity
  • Clean Driving License and access to vehicle
