Head of Executive SearchEssex£45,000 per annumWe are one of the fastest growing UK brands in Energy Recruitment, with 50% profit growth year on year. We have been awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise in 2020 (outstanding growth in international business), the Recruiter Awards Recruitment Agency ofthe Year 2021 and are shortlisted for the Investing in Talent awards 2021.The business has established itself as one of the most reliable, fast and knowledgeable contract recruiters in its sector, and is now investing in marketing and key hires to develop the business further with the potential for share options.Once the Exec Search brand has been established, we will hire a supporting researcher/resource and this role will expand to include developing business for our RPO brand.Purpose of Role:The postholder will be responsible for building an executive search practice in our markets of Offshore Wind, Marine, ROV and Subsea, Survey and Inspection, oil and gas. The postholder will also identify opportunities for our contractor and RPO offerings.Responsibilities:*Communicate with clients to get a clear view of their hiring needs and organizational goals*Research into clients company*Research into competitors and marketplace*Define job description and document specifications*Design and write compelling proposals*Identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels*Create a candidate persona for each open position*Conduct confidential interviews*Follow-up references and check credits*Present shortlisted candidates*Present detailed candidate profile summaries*Build long-term client relationships*Research and develop recruiting leads*Develop a sustainable candidate lead strategy*Advise clients on best-recruiting practices*Generate content-led marketing and build personal profile via conferences, meetings, presentations*Identify and manage opportunities for contract and RPO offerings*Deliver £300,000 in personally generated fees per annum.Person specification:*Able to demonstrate a good understanding of our core markets (market status, trends, best practices)*Highly credible communicator, with experience of managing very senior candidates and clients*Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and issues such as ED&I, EVP*Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate sourcing tools and methods*Understanding of Recruitment Marketing software is a plus*Focus on clients needs and build strong client relationships*Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills*Integrity and confidentiality*Critical thinker and problem-solving skills*Self-starter able to manage own projects, time and pipelineContext:The position reports to the MD.Location: our offices in Billericay, but travel and flexible home working are expected.Reward: A high basic salary, and total reward of 33% of billings.
