Job descriptionAre you experienced in a warehouse/production environment and seeking a new challengeDue to ongoing growth, my client, a best in class print company who specialise in printed magazines and book binding, are looking to expand their print production department. Full training is provided and youll learn how to operate a variety of differentmachinery including booklet makers, case makers, bindery and stitching equipment.The ideal candidate will be...- Experienced in a similar environment e.g. warehousing / production / machine operation - Enthusiastic with a hands-on approach towards work- Open minded, willing to learn new skills- Flexible regarding working shift patterns- Happy to work in a busy, fast paced environment- Have their own transport (preferable), due to the shift patternsSalary and Shift Patterns- A fantastic salary is on offer for this role with generous increases once youve passed your probationary period and completed training. Based on experience youll be earning £9.50ph - £13.85ph (£18,000 - £27,000 per annum) and youll also get 10% shift allowancetoo!- Within the role youll work on an alternating 3-shift pattern: 5 days in 7 working on days/afternoons 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00. Then 4 days 22:00-06:00.- Initial training will take approximately 2 weeks, during which youll be working on the day shift.- Youll also get 20 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays, overtime paid at x1.5 base rate on weekends, discretionary sick pay, free on site parking, great opportunities for progression and development, and much more!
