Job Description

Maintenance/ facilities Supervisor Our client is looking for a Maintenance/ facilities supervisor that will be responsible for the maintenance and service of all logistics hardware and sofware. You will have a hands on approach to work with excellent leadership skills.Your duties:

  • You will have experience in managing a small team
  • Managing subcontractors
  • Carrying out repairs of the Forklift trucks, packing machines and conveyers.
  • Making sure all staff adhere to health and safety regulations when using equipment
  • You will have experience in budgeting and always improving cost and availability
  • Work closely with the Logistics manager and be on hand to give technical advice when needed
  • Being accountable for the departments KPI’s
  • You will be the first port of call to be able to deal with hardware and software malfunctions
  • Having a can do attitude is vital for this role
    • Requirements
  • You will be happy working shift work on a rotating shift of 6am-2pm then 2pm-10pm
  • Have excellent IT skills and be competent in all Microsoft packages
  • Proven experience managing facilities and maintenance in a logistics envorinment
  • You will have a passion for mechanical engineering
  • Manage building maintenance and repairs by implementing and managing checks, inspection rounds and audits.
