Job Description

Logistics Service Desk AdvisorPermanentBiggleswadePart Time: 22.5 Hours per week09:30 - 18:00 (3 Days per week including Monday & Friday as well as one other of your choice)Up to £21,000 + Benefits PackageFree Parking onsiteREED Recruitment are working with a local Biggleswade based business to support with the recruitment of a new team member in the Logistics department.Duties:

  • Liaise with customers regarding queries and concerns regarding orders & deliveries
  • Work to agreed timeframes to ensure deliveries are made on time
  • Ensure all information is updated accurately on the inhouse database system
  • Work with transport companies to identify service shortfalls to improve for the future
  • Create returns documentation
  • Investigate customer complaints with inhouse teams and external parties to offer resolution
To be successfully in this role, you will:
  • Have a minimum of 1 years experience working within an office based customer service or contact centre role
  • Confident communicator including excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience and confident working on customer databases, CRM or inhouse system
  • A pro-active and solutions orientated approach to work
