Job Description

Role: UK Business Development Manager Location: Reporting into Biggleswade once a month – UK based role.   • Salary - £38,000 - £45,000 + Bonus (Depending experience)
  • Monday to Friday – 2 days WFM – 3 days on the road

Overview of the role: I have partnered with a leading company that specialises in supplying raw materials for the global aerospace industry who work with some of the world’s most prestigious aerospace manufacturers and suppliers, providing them with high-quality materials andsolutions.We are looking for a business development manager to join their team and grow and maintain relationships with their customer base.You will be responsible for managing existing accounts and developing new ones, as well as identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the market.You will be the face of the company, representing them with professionalism and integrity.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow existing accounts to maximize sales and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of sales and account management in the metals industry or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • A strong customer focus and a consultative approach to selling
  • A self-motivated and independent attitude, with the ability to plan and organise your own work
  • A willingness to travel extensively and work remotely, as you will be out on the road for the majority of the role
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle will be required
