Kloeckner Metals UK Limited (Kloeckner) is the UK subsidiary of the German listed, market-leading, 6.3bn turnover, 8,600 employees, global steel trading and distribution group based in Duisburg, Germany.The UK business, headquartered in Leeds, operates out of 11 principal locations, employs circa 700 staffThe Role:Based at our site in Biddulph, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative. The role will involve operating heavy machineries such as fork-lift trucks, side loaders and overhead cranes. The site processes thousands of tonnes of steel each week and so healthand safety is a primary concern for us. As such, youll be given full training on how to operate all the machinery on our site as well as manual handling and general health and safety training.Hours of work are fixed 10:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday to FridayWhat youll need:To be successful in the role you will have experience with FLTs, preferably in a manufacturing, Steel environment, warehousing or distribution.
