Our client is looking for a Graduate Software Developer, they are looking for someone who has an interest in software development. The company offers further progression and opportunities.The Graduate Software Developer will provide support for the customers and end-users including any network, software, or IT queries regarding software, systems, specific equipment, networks, and infrastructure.The role will also involve the design and development of projects as the company further expands and will include the use of the following: JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, C++, C#, VB, .NET, ASP, Python, HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, SQLThe Graduate Software Developer will:* Support the future development of the service and product.* Track, report, and spot trends to support future progression.* Develop software improvements.* Get involved and manage IT projects from start to completion.Candidate Requirements:The Graduate Software Developer requires an individual with excellent communication skills and a positive and proactive work ethic. The standalone element will require self-motivation and fantastic organisation skills whilst the technical side of the positionrequires those who can project manage from start to completion.The Graduate Software Developer will need to be:* Organised and have excellent prioritisation.* Understanding of how to approach different situations and handle a variety of end-users.* The Software Developer will self-manage, take on responsibility and use their own initiative regarding the process and future development.* Ideally, have experience with first-line or second-line support.* Have a familiarity with the following: JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, C++, C#, VB, .NET, ASP, Python, HTML, CSS, PHP, XML, SQL.* Have knowledge or appreciation for IT networks and firewalls is ideal.
