This is a key role in the Public Health team in Bexley at senior management level. As theSenior Public Health Intelligence Specialist, in addition to the core technical and analytical skills implicit in the role, it is also a significant leadership role. In this position it is a temporary role and working from home.Be responsible for leading health intelligence support to Public Health in the London Borough of Bexley, working through a matrix arrangement with data analysts in the LBB Strategy, Performance and Insight Team as well as with other analysts in the CCG .Provide a range of public health information analysisProvide epidemiological support to the public health team and wider health and care system for outbreak management. This will include, but not be limited to, supporting the COVID-19 Health Protection Board and the Public Health Response Cell.Develop the PH performance dashboard, and co-ordinate directorate information relating to public health performance targets.Develop and coordinate analytical reports for key documents such as Annual Public Health Reports and Joint Strategic Needs Assessments.Take a lead in the collection and analysis of data to support the on-going development of specific public health programmes, such as monitoring and evaluation information.Provide significant input into the process of understanding the health needs of the local population; the identification of health inequalities; and the determination of priorities for action.Actively disseminate the findings of a range of analysis to a wide range of audiences within the London Borough of Bexley, in order to improve the health of the local population.Take a lead in the development of a multiagency virtual intelligence hub.Experience
