Are you an established Senior 3rd Line IT Support Engineer looking to join an already successful IT teamAre you willing to help mentor others as well as developing your own IT skillsIf the answer is YES! then my client wants to hear from you.Due to the continued growth and success of their business they now require a Senior 3rd Line IT Support Engineer who will play a crucial role in keeping IT services running smoothly across their customers IT infrastructure.This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team. Within this role as a Senior 3rd Line IT Support Engineer, you are expected to be competent within your own technical ability and help mentor the more junior staff members.Your day to day duties will include BAU supporting infrastructure including server, storage, network, data and applications as well as occasional project-based work. You will be handling escalated calls from the Service Desk where you will be required to administer and maintain customer infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure AD, LAN, Internet access, firewalls and Exchange/Office 365.You will also be expected to administer VMware and Citrix Infrastructures including SAN environments as well as monitor and troubleshoot server and network performance and act as the technical lead when part of a major incident team.You should have a varied and solid technical background with experience in supporting a range of technical solutions, Servers, desktops, and operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server (2012/2016/2019 including NLB and clustering) VMware vSphere 5.0+ in an enterprise environment and Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that takes pride in and care about their staff.
