Job Description

Are you passionate about providing exceptional medical care in an educational environment Tradewind are seeking a dedicated School Medical Officer to join an exceptional Secondary School in Bexleyheath with an immediate start.Role: School Medical OfficerLocation: BexleyheathSalary: £15 - £17 per hourStart date: Immediate after February Half TermResponsibilities:

  • Medical Administration: Manage medical records, maintain inventory of medical supplies, and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Attending to Unwell Students and Staff: Assess and provide initial care for students and staff members who become unwell during school hours. Administer first aid treatments and make appropriate referrals when necessary.
  • Health Promotion: Collaborate with school administration to promote health and wellness initiatives among students and staff. Conduct health education sessions and participate in relevant school events.
Essential Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Valid First Aid Qualification.
