We have a range of schools across Bexley who work closely with Academics to take on a number of enthusiastic graduates into these SEN Teaching Assistant positions on a 1:1 or small group basis.A Teaching Assistants responsibilities include:
  • To provide continued support for the teacher
  • To carry out one to one and/or small group work with students
  • Providing tuition and booster sessions with pupils working at a lower ability or on the Special Educational Needs register
  • Reading sessions and providing numeracy and literacy support
Successful candidates will have:
  • Enhanced DBS (we can support you with your application)
  • Experience of working with SEN children in KS1 and KS2
  • Strong Behaviour Management Strategies
  • A positive and inclusive attitude
  • A team player spirit
