Job Description

Shift: Mon - Friday (7.30am - 16.30pm)I’ m currently recruiting for a Design Engineers position to work with a global manufacturer of high technology heating products. As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for working alongside an Electrical counterpart in the design of bespoke oil, gas and dual burner systems.Duties:

  • Designing and amending oil, gas and dual burner systems using 3D modelling software (AutoCAD)
  • Creating detailed drawings suitable for manufacturing & assembly.
  • Creating bill of materials (BOM’s)
  • Liaising directly with customers/suppliers and internal departments on a technical level.
  • Involvement with project management and advanced planning for production.
    • The successful candidate for the Mechanical Design Engineers position will have the following experience:
  • Degree or HND qualified within an engineering discipline (Essential)
  • 3-5 years’ experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer (Essential)
  • Experienced in using AutoCAD (Essential)
  • Experience in working within the oil & gas industry (desirable)
  • Ability to problem solve with a pragmatic approach to work (Essential)
