Job Description

Area Business Manager - South Competitive SalaryPermanent vacancyChem Arrow are a global manufacturer and supplier of specialist cutting oils and industrial lubricants to the engineering industry. Based in the UK, Chem Arrow Europe are recruiting an Area Business Manager to cover an existing territory in the South ofthe UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a company who are investing heavily in building a truly international organisation.The successful candidate will be responsible for growing revenue year on year through proactive targeted sales, together with maintaining and developing an existing customer portfolio. Working from home, you will be a focused and experienced professionalresponsible for all aspects of the sales cycle within your designated territory.Position overview:

  • Responsibility for sales and marketing strategy for your territory.
  • Identifying and actively developing prospective clients.
  • Offer technical support to new and existing customers throughout the territory.
  • Develop strong relationships to build a long-term customer/supplier partnership.
  • Ensure all information is recorded on an appropriate CRM system.
  • Manage all areas of the sales cycle to increase revenue within the territory.
  • Work closely with our Service Team and Chemists to fully support our customer base.
  • Liaise with our customer support team to prepare technical proposals and quotations.
Skills required:
  • Previous role in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Sales within an industrial environment is useful but not essential.
  • Able to demonstrate a good level of IT skills.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and self-motivation to meet personal and company goals.
  • An ability to take ownership of tasks and problems to a conclusion.
  • Self-motivation and the discipline to work alone out in the field as well as part of our growing team.
  • A full UK driving license with at least 5 years experience.
Remuneration:
  • Basic salary £35,000 - £45,000
  • Excellent commission/bonus package on existing and new business.
  • A suitable company car or car allowance, laptop, mobile phone and PPE provided.
  • A company credit card for business expenses.
  • A company pension plan.
  • 25 days paid holiday per year + public holidays.
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Copies of Passports and / or Visas will be requested for verification
