Senior Healthcare AssistantsBenson House, Caring Homes purpose-built luxury care home for the Village of Benson opens in Febuary 2021, with a start dateof the 4th Janauary 2021,providing residents with high quality residential, nursing and dementia care.Situated in the quaint village of Benson, opposite the River Thames where there is a luxury café/restaurant available for enjoying the river views which is popular with visitors to the village. The RAF Benson base is only 3 miles away and is a big part of the community housing a range of helicopters including Puma’s and Chinook’s.Benson House , Benson, OxfordshireNVQ 2 and willing to work towards level 3 in Health & Social Care Qualified (or equivalent) Full-Time or Part-Time Shifts availableDays and Nights shifts - Must be flexible for both days and nights£11.50 per hourWe are looking people who have a passion for working with the Elderly and who will be able to start working with us in October , in preparation for when the home opens.The Role:An excellent and exciting opportunity to join us at Benson House as a Senior Healthcare Assistant!You will work part of a great team and be making a difference to our residents by providing excellent care standards, taking pride in treating our residents as individuals.As a Senior Carer at Caring Homes, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserveResponsible for supporting our elderly residents with daily living, providing support and companionship, assisting with their physical and personal needs – where every day is different and rewarding!About You:You’ll be enthusiastic and have empathy, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Above all you’ll have real compassion for all our residents to deliver the highest standard of care.Compassionate and caring Able to give support to families Ready for a job where you can feel proud about what you doFlexible to work shifts on a rota basis, and work alternate weekendsNVQ 2 and willing to work towards level 3 qualified in Heath & Social Care andmedication trained with experience with assising with meds, writing care plans and risk assessments is essential.You will have worked within a care home setting together with experience supervising care assistants in your team.If making people’s lives better is what gets you up in the morning, you should come and join a like-minded team atBenson House.
