Contracts Manager (Mechanical) Belper Between £50k & £70k (dependant on experience) Company car Bonus scheme Private healthcareThe Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager, to join a well-established business within the building services sector . The successful candidate will be joining a well-established and supportiveteam at their facility in Belper.Responsibilities- Attend pre contract meetings with both the wider team and client to discuss the scope of the project on both a commercial and contractual level. - Carry out equipment requirements / checks to avoid project delays, procurement issues and unnecessary financial costs. - Take overall responsibility for the ordering & delivery of equipment and materials. - Develop a buying schedule for project equipment, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors. - Ensure the project has been programmed in detail to avoid unnecessary risk and increase project success and profitability. - Monitor all site labour, ensuring all site activity is documented and costings are being managed by the site lead. - Be the general liaison between site, client and key stakeholders. - Regularly attend client & site meetings to continually monitor the project progress. - Monitor an health & safety issues, ensure all risk assessments, method statements & COSHH assessments are in place and implement accordingly with all site labour. - Assist with the preparation of O&M manuals and the creation of routine maintenance schedules. - Attend post contract completion meetings for final project handover. - Be the clear lead on all projects and manage the chain of responsibility. The Person- Experienced as a Contracts Manager within building services. - ONC or above in building services. - Good understanding of the construction industry and manage the project from start to finish. - Excellent working knowledge of HVAC systems. - All round IT skills such as MS Office. - First rate communicator and confident managing professional relationships across all levels within the project. - Commercially aware.Please apply now to express an interest.
