Job Description

Senior Lettings AgentMy client is a prestigious and commercial business based in Belfast. Due to company growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Lettings Agent to join their team.This is a Full-Time, Permanent positionWorking hours: MondayFriday 9am-5pm (Office Based)With a salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Job Role:As Senior Lettings Agent, you will be working within a team as well as on your own initiative providing first class customer service to clients.Essential Criteria:

  • A third level qualification at 2.2. level or above in a property related field, or 2 years experience minimum working in property management
  • Excellent IT/administrative skillswith the ability and proficiency of using Microsoft Office packages (Previous experience of Qube Property Management Software would be preferable but not essential)
  • Clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To work alongside the current team in a busy office, dealing with customers, answering telephones as well as administrative duties, and being out and about doing property viewings, inspections, and check offs
  • Dealing with Customers and Clients in the office at the counter to attend various roles, such as collecting rental payments, taking notes of repairs, and passing onto contractors, making viewings appointments, and signing up new tenants, sending emailsetc.
  • Undertaking property check offs at the end of the tenancies, instructing contractors to undertake various works, and dealing with the return of the tenants deposits through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme
  • Updating property websites and managing a large portfolio of deposits online
  • Administration duties
  • Arrange for the carrying out of statutory fire safety/gas checks and maintain a register of same
  • At specific busy times during the months of August/September you will be expected to work extra hours, and will be remunerated accordingly
