Job Purpose:We are looking to hire an experienced Front-End Developer and technologist to join our team, part of the Citis Markets Technology Group, working on a Trade Surveillance platform used across multiple businesses within our Institutional Clients Group. With a broad knowledge of different web programming languages, patterns, and architecture designs, you will take on a hands-on role in developing and leading the web layer for the platform. You will work with the backend developers, business analysts and product managers as your key stakeholders to ensure we are meeting their requirements to develop and drive highly interactive User Interface. You will also contribute to the teams strategy arounddevelopment and deployment best practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the Trade Surveillance platform ensuring timely delivery of work items in the sprint.
• Evaluate and provide technical solutions to solve a variety of complex and interdependent processes.
• Evaluate and perform POCs on new strategic technical products and applications.
• As part of the core team, ensure sub-teams adhere to our code quality and testing standards.
• Govern and guide team to develop highly resilient and future proof solutions
• Contribute to research and suggest for new projects for UNO and other projects in the group.
• Build and maintain productive working culture across various streams of work

Skills & Qualifications:

• Javascript, HTML, CSS, CSS pre-processors (SASS/SCSS)
• CSS Responsive frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Angular Material Flex Layout)
• Responsive HTML/CSS
• Frontend frameworks (Angular, React)
• Mobile first development, progressive enhancement
• Cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• RESTful APIs, JSON
• HTTP Auth mechanisms
• UI automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium)

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• You have good experience in upgrading Angular version for an application
• Good to have worked in the past with SQLNoSQL technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, Couchbase, Mongo DB, etc.)
• You are familiar with cloud computing concepts and DevOps tools (Docker, Openshift).
• You have very high development standards, especially for code quality, code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration and deployment.
• You have an appetite for taking on challenges and leveraging new technologies.
• You agree that verbal and written communication skills are vital
