Job Description

The Role:
  • Our client is currently looking to recruit a Sales Executive for their Nursing Care division in Northern Ireland on a full-time permanent basis.
  • Selling seating, hygiene, warranty & after sales, bed & bedroom accessories, pressure relief systems, moving & handling, continence care, paediatric seating, paediatric showering & bathing.
  • Work with the wider commercial team and Sales Manager to deliver the agreed sales strategy.
  • Analysis of market and competitive data with the aim of developing a sales strategy.
  • Work on and deliver quotations and assist with tender completion.
  • Perform product demonstrations and training at customer sites when required.
  • Maintain, grow and support relationships with distributors.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and effective customer communication.
  • Develop long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Interact with product support engineers to resolve technical problems and improve existing products.
  • Attendance at exhibitions, networking events and company sales meetings.
  • Covering Northern Ireland.
The Ideal Person:
  • Sales experience in the Nursing Home Sector.
  • Will also consider medical sales experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience.
  • Business development or commercial experience.
  • Experience of completing tenders from the initial stages through to fruition.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding challenging targets.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of formal corporate presentations.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite software and the internet.
  • A full driving licence. You must be highly organised and able to prioritise and strategically develop business opportunities.
  • Growth mind-set.
  • The ability to self-motivate and have that hunger in the belly.
