Job Description Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a leading investment bank based in Belfast on an initial years contract. The Project Manager will receive a day rate of £375 Project Manager 12 month intiial contract Project Manager / Workstream lead required to assist with delivery of the Markets MCA Transformation Key responsibilities include: - Direct and oversee implementation of regulatory remediation initiatives - Clarify regulatory requirements so that remediation owners may properly plan and deliver against the timelines - Provide oversight over the Markets owned remediation portfolio, ensuring cross-remediation dependencies, risks and budget are identified, aligned and proactively managed - Facilitate the assignment of ownership, the identification of remediation plans and timelines for addressing Markets owned remediation - Define and agree scope, target state and closure criteria with remediation owners, providing review and challenge of corrective action plans to ensure they fully address regulatory/audit expectations - Drive engagement across Markets business and with stakeholders across the three lines of defense - Inform key updates and matters requiring decision for presentation to relevant governance bodies o 5+ years experience in financial services o Strong understanding of the operational risk management framework, with a proven track record of overseeing resolution of internal / regulatory remediation programs o Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary o Ability to prepare status reports, including the synthesis and tracking of multiple remediation programs o Comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function o Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions o Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions.
