Help shape the future of aerospace Product Quality ControllerEarn £30,365.40 rising to £33,566.00Our client is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defence platforms, and business/regional jets.Spirit recently acquired Northern Irelands premier aerospace company and is ramping up its award-winning, composite wing production for an industry-leading, commercial aircraft programme.RESPONSIBLE TO: Product Assurance Manager Immediate requirements exist for suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the above Positions for a 12 to 18 month contract.PURPOSE OF THE JOB Carrying out Inspection, Quality Control and Quality Assurance FunctionsEnsuring product compliance with design specification, customer and approving authorityrequirements and regulationsProviding instruction and advice to operators as and when requiredMonitoring the Delegated Operator SchemeWorking flexibly in groupsWriting technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigateinvestigation and corrective actionCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSApplicants must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years relevant post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environmentAn ONC or equivalent qualification is desirable.
