Job Description

We are looking for a Principal Delivery Engineer in Northern Ireland!There is a blended working approach to this role, with most of the time being out in the field. A company car will be included.About As the Principle Delivery Engineer, you will be driving and have accountability of the delivery of multiple work streams from approval to build through to release, completion and handover. Youll be managing the build activity ensuring itis done in accordance with company policies and processes as well as NRSWA and Code Of Practice for co-ordination of Street Works compliance.Within this role, its vital that you are ensuring the E2E process is adhered to, driving a high Built right first time success rate, and clean handover for activation & install of services and to network assurance and or the end customer, whilst within budget, CPP and Supporting Major Programmes.Our successful candidate will drive innovation of new initiatives and first to field trials across Network Expansion and work with counterparts to deliver across the regions. Youll be using expertise and tenacity to overcome challenges, minimalizing impact to delivery and or cost.Must havesIn order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Extensive knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry with experience of FTTP architecture
  • NRSWA Supervisor course Knowledge & experience
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations and strong Civils Knowledge
  • Full Clean UK Driving License
  • Strong project or programme delivery experience
  • Project management qualifications e.g., APM
  • Experience in Fibre fundamentals & Cabling practices
Wed also love you to bring:
    • Large scale build experience
    • An understanding Of Management Systems i.e. Workflow, Cemar
    • Knowledge of NEC4 contracts & PIA accreditation would be desirable, but isnt essential
    • Knowledge of Financial Control & excellent data analysis skills
Other stuff our customer is looking for
  • Excellent data analysis skills.
  • PIA accreditation.
  • Commercial Awareness - understands basic revenue models, P&L, and cost-to-completion projections.
  • Strong technical, analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate - good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
