EQs purpose is to care for every customer and simplify every transaction, deliveredwith less of an impact on the environment.EQ vision is to be the leading global share registrar, offering complementary services to its client base.Role SummaryThe IT Portfolio Coordinator will form a key role in the delivery of software solutions for ICS. Reporting to the Head of IT and liaising closely with Function Heads, project managers, service managers and pre-sales, the candidate will be responsible forthe portfolio intake process and facilitating effective capacity planning across the business. The position will provide full transparency across the IT Portfolio via planning, scheduling, analysis and reporting.Core Duties/ResponsibilitiesThe IT Portfolio Coordinator will be required undertake the following specific activities:

  • Ongoing continuous improvement and refinement of the Portfolio intake process
  • Effective capacity planning
  • Effective resource management ensuring optimum utilisation according to project priorities and allocated budgets
  • Planning and scheduling portfolio activities working in conjunction with project managers
  • Portfolio analysis and reporting
  • Modelling of project demand scenarios
  • Maintaining and managing skills and competencies according to the SFIA model
  • Collaborating on the creation and reporting of 360 performance reviews across the resource pool
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively with IT delivery teams
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • Exceptional planning skills
  • Proven experience in resource planning and forecasting
  • Demonstrable knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, etc.)
  • Demonstrable proficiency of planning tools (DevOps, MS Project, etc)
  • Ability adapt quickly to shifting business priorities
  • Self motivated with capacity to drive relevant activities personally
