REED Accountancy & Finance are working with a top NI client in the FMCG industry and are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join their existing team.This is a new role due to growth and an opportunity to bring new ideas and processes to the payroll function.This is a hybrid opportunity working both in the office and from home.Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Administrator will prepare and process weekly and monthly payroll and assist the Payroll Supervisor with all administration and related queries.Payroll postings will be made on ERP system and monthly reconciliations from the payroll system to the ERP system will be managed efficiently.Key Responsibilities will include:Enter all new start and leavers information on the payroll and time and attendance systemsEnter all pay rate changes on the payroll and time and attendance systemUpdate the time and attendance system and payroll system with department changes, roster changes, holidays, sickness etcCalculate back pay (if required), sick pay and all other statutory payments on a weekly basisHelp managers to identify clocking errors and ensure corrections are made weekly. The managers are responsible for ensuring the employees hours are correctly recordedAssist in completing payroll and upload all payslips and P45s to Epay as requiredManage the administration of the Epay system and payroll inbox queriesPreparing year-end final and in-year FPS & EPS submissionsTo upload BACs reports within the time limits for processing with the bankEnter payroll journals into ERP system on a monthly basisTo ensure the monthly reconciliation of various payroll reports, including P32 and pension uploads, to the accounting recordsFile all payroll information daily/weekly as instructed by the Payroll ManagerManage administrative accounts tasks under the guidance of the Payroll ManagerAny other reasonable duties that may ariseThe Person:Applicants will have three years payroll experience working in a large organisation.Applicants will have previous experience working with an ERP systems.Applicants will have high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.A strong knowledge of payroll legislation including Pension Auto Enrolment, SMP, SSP, holiday pay and RTI is essential.A working knowledge of Civica payroll, Mitrefinch Advance Time Management System and Epay software would be beneficial.Please get in touch with Lizzy Lyons on and email an up to date cv to
