Your roleOur PMO Centre of Excellence is a team of high-calibre PMO specialists and is part of our wide Programme Leadership (PL) team. PL is currently one of the largest programme leadership capabilities in the marketplace and we are renowned for our critical involvement in our clients largest and most complex change programmes. We believe that the ability to manage change is in itself a strategic differentiator and we have developed a range of capabilities and offerings that enable us to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. We work with clients across all industry sectors to translate strategy into programmes of work, to assure their delivery and to embed the project, programme and PMO capability required to support the challenges of large-scale complex change. Our PMO Centre of Excellence is core to our proposition in the Transformation agenda at Deloitte and this kind of work sits at the heart of any business. So, youll broaden your skill set and develop quickly, gaining access to the highest levels of client liaison and working on complex, high-profile projects. The continued success of our PMO Centre of Excellence team means that we are looking to grow further by recruiting project and programme management specialists with experience in across all industries with the right skill set and attitude to performance, growth and development. Within the role you will have responsibility for bringing your Programme Leadership and transformation expertise along with broader consulting skills to: •Help clients solve complex issues by performing analysis, providing recommendations and utilising a combination of consulting experience, industry knowledge, tools and technology •Develop work plans for client engagements and lead the delivery of defined project objectives •Work with a range of stakeholders both internally within Deloitte and in client organisations, as a subject matter expert on Programme Leadership •Lead teams of client and Deloitte resources to shape and deliver programme workstreams, projects or squad outcomes •Support business development by contributing to new business proposals and taking roles in industry and account teams •Provide insight and experience to clients and engagement leadership to anticipate and resolve issues in outcome delivery •Contribute to internal practice development by participating in proposition, methodology and point of view development activities and supporting knowledge capture and sharing •Deliver and lead components of Programme Leadership activity in a variety of project contexts •Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills Your work, your choiceAt Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Location: Your home office will be in Belfast, but this client-facing role provides lots of opportunity for travel in the UK and overseas. Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. Your professional experienceThe technical nature of your Programme Leadership experience is expected to include: •Programme and project management delivery, with evidence of delivering agile, waterfall or hybrid approaches •A material delivery role at least one of the following types of programme: (1) technology programme delivery; (2) operational process transformation; (3) change management involving the people and culture transformation; (4) front-office sales and marketing transformation •Planning, risk management, benefits management, governance and reporting •Stakeholder management and influencing skills •Programme assurance, turnaround and recovery •Mobilisation and leadership of a significant Programme Management Office or Transformation Management Office team •Highly collaborative, teaming across client departments and functions, as well as with our Change and Organisation Design teams •Industry knowledge, trends and insights or deep expertise in one of the four programme types described above, bringing lessons learnt and insights to clients and the wider Deloitte group •Commercial and risk awareness, either in a professional service environment or as a customer of a programme partner is preferred but not essential Your servic
