Identity and Access Manager – Belfast - PermanentREED Technology are delighted to partner with an educational organisation who are seeking to recruit an Identity and access manager to join their excellent Digital services team.The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance of Identity and Access Management solutions and associated Identity Governance and Administration processes within the organisation.Previous experience with enterprise scale identity management, governance and administration is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, project management skills and experience of continuous process improvement.Responsibilities• Design robust automation workflows for Joiners, Movers & Leavers tobe implemented within the organisation.• Engage with technology owners to assess the complexity and feasibility of proposed workflows• Manage service providers and vendors associated with Identity and Access Management• Formulate, manage and prioritise the strategic road map and development plan• Manage and deliver improvements to solutions that support the company IDAM strategy• Liaise with technology owners to formulate and establish configuration and security policies for services, identities and core systems.• Ensure consistent deployment of IDAM processes across systems and environments.• Identify, document and resolve IDAM issues using a structured approach.• Work with technology owners to deliver improvements to the existing RBAC model for standard and privileged user approval• Implement SSO to various internal and external systems.• Act as a technical contact with providers of DS services.• Promote security standards and technologies in support of strategic identity development.• Be responsible for reliability and quality assurance of identity platforms.• Implement robust Delegated Administration, Self Service and Access Request capabilities.• Contribute to the planning and development of future services provision and the evaluation of new technologies.• Provide specialist technical advice and training to staff• Leadproject management activities• Interact with functional, technical, and business support teams to design, document, and implement business-driven solutions• Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.• Provide risk and security assessment of identity systems development and maintenance and assist in contingency planning.• Provide 3rd level support to the DS service desk team..Essential Criteria• Educated to a degree level in an IT related subject or suitable experience• Significant experience of Identity and Access Management (IDAM) core concepts (Lifecycle and Entitlement Management) and technologies including MIM• Experience of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, PAM and Azure PIM, SSO, RBAC, Azure Enterprise Applications• Experience supporting IDAM processes and technologies across multiple operating systems including upstream and downstream platform integrations• Experience deploying and managing IDAM solutions• Experience describing technical and functional requirementsIf you meet the above criteria, then I would like to hear from you asap.Please contact Niall Lennon on for a confidential discussion.
