Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business and have significant impact across the lifecycle of a trade. We partner extensively with a range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal,Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with our external client base, playing a key role in the overall client experience. We have a Client relationship group, dedicated to overseeing the Organizational service performance and strategic partnershipfor our top tier client base, where we play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a first-class experience when doing business with Citi. Our Business Intelligence and Process Re-engineering group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges. We partner with Citis innovation labs to drive optimization, and overall play a pivotal rolein enabling us to transform to achieve our target operating model. Our Technology partners develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations, Change, Design and Implementation groups in providing innovative products and solutions. We have re-imagined how to provide technology and service in ourdomain through the alignment of our team vision, culture, and aggressive retirement plan for legacy applications and adoption of a micro-based containerized cloud environment. We work closely with our external global peers, partners, and regulators, and play an integral part in leading an agenda at the forefront to optimize and streamline processes and drive strategy across our industry. Job Purpose: This role is within the Derivative Confirmations Middle Office team, covering GSP, Rates and Equity Derivatives. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing & welcoming team, who directly interact with over 200 global clients and support our tradingdesk across 3 key regions (Europe, Asia and North America) This is a high-profile, global team, with exposure to large volumes of trades and high value items. The role involves daily engagement with External Clients, Front Office trading and sales, internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to reconcile exceptionitems and identify/resolve at root cause. The successful candidate will receive supportive training and a personal development plan to help them succeed within this role and develop their career at Citi. Responsibilities:

  • Provide first point of contact service for Clients in the Derivative Confirmation process.
  • Ensuring all issues/breaks are raised and resolved appropriately, in a timely and risk-conscious manner
  • Regular communication with Internal Clients and Stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Trading Desk, and other Middle Office groups globally.
  • Ability to produce timely accurate reporting statements for the group on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure appropriate oversight of client accounts.
  • Enhance our client experience by identifying process improvements to increase the automation and accuracy of the trade confirmation generation
  • Provide an enhanced level of client service to our platinum level clients to ensure their own key metric SLAs are being met on a consistent basis.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adheringto Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountabilitywith those who fail to maintain these standards.
