Head of Digital – Insurance LeaderHighly Attractive Package (Salary + Bonus + Market Leading Benefits)Hybrid – Home (3 days) & Dublin, Belfast or Derry Office (2 days)(This is a 12-month maternity cover contract based in Dublin, Belfast or Derry offices)Our client, one of the world’s biggest Insurance providers, is currently in search of a Head of Digital to join their amazing Digital team, based in Dublin, Belfast or Derry (Hybrid working).Reporting to the COO, this Head of Digital role will be responsible in defining & delivering digital strategy, while managing a team of 6 direct reports and supporting the wider digital team.You will be expected to lead and deliver on Digital initiatives through digital delivery, ensuring to provide an optimal customer experience, whilst increasing revenues and efficiencies.Your Role

• Responsible for the customer experience of Digital Customer journeys end to end online across Direct, Commercial, Claims and Partners; while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience via ongoing usability testing and competitor monitoring.
• Management of Digital ongoing costs and budgets ensuring any stretch is met.
• Driving Digital across the organisation to deliver on efficiency targets, revenue targets and providing an optimal customer experience across Direct, Commercial, Claims and Partners online.
• Leading & providing direction to the Digital Product Factory Team consisting of Digital Product Managers & Owners, UX & UI Designers,and Digital Data & Insight Specialists and a newly established Digital Enablement team.
• Leading and delivering on Digital Priorities each year as part of the overall strategic change portfolio
• Working with relevant market facing teams to set agreed KPIs for each digital initiatives & ensuring relevant tracking in place pre go live.
• Providing early insight into ongoing Digital Initiatives to ensure key high-level milestones are met and deliverables remain on track.
• Providing a best-in-class user interface (UI) to optimise the digital funnels & simplify the customer journey online.
• Responsible to create, agree and deliver an online A: B testing strategy to increase revenues across Direct, Commercial, Claims and Partners
• Provide expert advice on new & innovative Digital Solutions to the market facing teams.
• Development of the Digital team to ensure we have the right capabilities, skills and resources to deliver on agreed targets and developments.

Your Skills

• 3-5 years’ experience working in a Senior Level Digital role, insurance industry experience not essential.
• Experience in leading and managing high performing teams and delivering across multiple functions and teams, with the passion of digital development at the forefront.
• Digital led third level qualification or relevant discipline; with APA qualification desirable – not essential.
• Skilled at communicating the complex digital solutions simply, adopting style to suit the audience and situation, while being respectful and sensitive to the organisational and individual impacts of change.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies essential, with a Project Management qualification desirable.
• Agile, embracing change and keeps afresh with the changing pace of the digital world.
