Job Description

Finance Systems Support AnalystBelfast (2-3 days remote work)Are you ready to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting financial systems We are working with a leading Law Firm, seeking a motivated Finance Systems Support Analyst to join their Finance Systems Group team. A leading organization thatare committed to excellence, innovation, and providing exceptional solutions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert financial systems support to our global user community.
  • Manage support calls efficiently using incident management processes.
  • Record, monitor, and escalate software bugs and issues as needed.
  • Manage user expectations in a professional and customer-oriented manner.
  • Continuously strive to improve service, processes, and use of Finance Systems.
  • Daily monitoring and maintenance of Finance Systems.
  • Assist in system setups, security coordination, and maintenance.
  • Engage in projects to improve finance systems and contribute to their design and testing.
  • Identify functional improvements, partner with BA and Development teams, and log changes.
  • Assist in the analysis and testing of solutions for areas of performance improvement.
  • Perform month-end and year-end processes on a rota basis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customized finance solution and integrated systems.
  • Create and maintain administration, user documentation, and training materials.
  • Provide cover for other Finance Systems Support Analysts within the team.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience with finance and practice management systems (Elite 3E or similar).
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technologies to problem solve.
  • Excellent finance transactional processing knowledge gained within a Finance operational or systems role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in a service-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with excellent time management skills.
  • Initiative and a desire to get the job done independently.
  • Adaptability and a flexible approach with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience working in a global organization with complex structures.
  • Ability to work with others remotely as the team is split over multiple locations.
