Data Analyst – 6 month contract: BelfastREED Technology Belfast are delighted to be recruiting for a Data Analyst on behalf of our client, a high profile public sector body within Northern Ireland.The successful candidate will take responsibility and ownership for the clients customer Information data and the production of customer information for all channels -Digital applications and hard copy formats. The role holder will also manage quality and compliance,testing/ troubleshooting, processes, and supply.Responsibilities:• Planning & managing data processes and data flows; standardising data formats during import and export process of large and complex data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness of customer information delivery for the group.• Quality management: Troubleshooting all data, providing guidance on standards, introducing data practices and where required training to data providers and system owners from others parts of the business, to ensure adherence to current, changing and emergingstandards or data quality enhancements.• New data adoption: Manage projects to integrate new data sets or export new data types• Manage and improve the virtual network data structure• Process design & management• Communication of planned & unplanned incidents to client customers• Manage daily data import process in a range of formats• Synchronisation of multiple data sources• Quality control and release management for 3rd party exports - Google /Apple / Microsoft GTS/GTFS export standards, Open Data exports CIF/TXC, GIS routes MIF, Scheduled NTA Data Export to ROI planner• Configuration of data for hard copy production• Manage the upload/ release and version controls• Refinement of data• Updating SPAM text data/ remove unwanted data from source• Maintenance of serialization files• Infrastructure and topology currency,• Alias management;• Suppression file management• Quality management and testing of source data/ supplied data• Responsible for managing responses to customer complaints, feedback, testing and checking when things go wrong and deciding on compensation or corrective action.• Print buying, budget management and supplier management, stock control of all customer information hardcopy production.• Manage process for update of departure board updates (stand allocation lists/ overrides) • Support to development projects regarding development of user needs/requirements and other project responsibilities as required.• Ensure appropriate consideration is given to the organisations equality duties as well as specific commitments associated with your job roleEssential Criteria• Experience delivering data improvement projects• Related IT Qualification• Strong customer focus• Excellent communicator• Experience working in a pressurised environmentIf you meet the above criteria then we want to hear from you ASAP.Please contact Niall Lennon on or at REED Technology Belfast for an initial confidential discussion.A full, comprehensive job specification is available to all interested parties.
