Role OverviewThis role is open to students who have completed their first year of studies within University before beginning their second year. This is a 12 week internship commencing in June 2024. This role will be responsible for the assisting with the delivery of both Business As Usual (BAU) activities and project-related work. In particular, this role requires the successful candidate to assist with the execution of client and operational data stewardshipresponsibilities on a daily basis. Role Responsibilities

  • Execution of Client and Operational Data stewardship responsibilities on a daily basis, including:
    • Maintaining high quality, clean data by adhering to a strict governance and controls framework
    • Ownership and responsibility for the maintenance and change management of allocated individual systems data by the Team Manager.
    • Maintenance of Legal Entity records within the firms client databases
    • Ensure data management compliance within the relevant regulatory framework
  • Assisting with Data integration projects
  • To support the Team Manager and wider team colleagues with various change initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Where delegated responsibility by the Team Manager; to act as a liaison to, and provide support for, any internal or external audits.
Experience / CompetencesEssential
  • Commencing into Year 2 of University studies.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills & a proactive approach
  • Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment
  • Highly effective written & oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audience
  • Knowledge in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
