Business Development ExecutiveMy client is a leading organisation based in Belfast, who specialise in working with a range of clients across various sectors. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join their team.This is a Full-Time, Permanent position.Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid working – min of 1 day per week in the office)With a salary of £30k per annum + 20% Commission Plan (dependent on experience)Job Role:You will be responsible for expanding the business through outbound prospective calls and emails, handling inbound enquiries and marketing generated leads and helping to generate new sales opportunities.Essential Criteria:• At least 3 years Sales Development experience.• Minimum of Grade C in English and Maths (or recognised equivalent)• Highly IT literate.• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.• Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.• Understanding of sales and marketing principles strategies.• Strong interest in Technology.• Familiarity with effective sales methodologies.• Flexibility to travel to customer sites and company conferences.Desirable Criteria:• Outbound Sales Development experience specifically within the technology sector.• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or Hubspot.• Full UK driving licence.Main Duties and Responsibilities:• Develop marketing leads by telephone and email to promote the Company’s Products/ Solutions. Explain the product and associated benefits to potential customers.• Deliver scripted sales pitch to the customer.• Adjust scripted sales pitch to meet the needs of specific individuals.• Develop an understanding of the exact needs of the prospect and how the business can assist.• Establish if customer has Budget, Authority, Need and Timeline for potential purchase.• Work with Sales, Marketing and Product to drive campaigns and product development initiatives with customers and prospects whilst being aware of competitor offerings and your commercial positioning.• Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers as appropriate.• Handle customer questions.• Obtain customer / prospects information including names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses from various sources.• Record customer / prospects details including reaction to the product or service offered.• To make a specified number of outbound calls each day.• To achieve call and conversion targets.• To complete daily and weekly reports on targets achieved and opportunities for improvements.• To keep activity logs up to date.• To escalate any issues or complaints arising from calls.• Follow up on marketing leads generated from inbound and outbound marketing activity.• Any other reasonable duties as required by management.
