Brook Street (UK) Ltd is currently seeking an audio typist to work in our client`s busy office in the Royal Victoria Hospital. An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join public sector organisation to provide a comprehensive service to this agency.Our client is looking for a professional candidate who is an experienced audio typistThe successful candidate will provide a typing service in respect of both inpatient and outpatient letters and will be proficient in word processing and audio typing.Duties will include " Typing correspondence and other documents (both audio and copy typing) as delegated by the Team Leader." Type patient case note entries, correspondence and discharge summaries from audio transcription and enter data onto PAS and any other electronic systems relevant within the role and ensure all follow up actions are complete in accordance with policies andprocedures." Completing paperwork and patient schedules." Book follow-up appointments as directed and in line with Trust Policy." Assist with the organization and planning of clinics and meetings as required." Sort and distribute internal/external post including communications by fax and email." Retrieve and track patient case notes and X-ray/test results from the filing room, other offices and other hospitals as required." Answering telephone and taking messages and enquiries from GP`s, patients and other health service staff, and action when appropriate." File and maintain records in accordance with Trust policies and procedures." Printing and photocopying correspondence and other documentation as directed." Checking stock levels e.g. stationery, booklets and leaflets and ensuring more supplies are ordered if required.The hours of work will be Monday to Friday and the rate of pay is £10.42 per hour and this will be paid on a weekly basis To apply for this position, please submit your CV , or call Siobhan on
