REED Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a commercial business on the outskirts of Belfast city centre and are actively recruiting for a Sub-Contract Ledger Administrator to join their stable and successful finance team.This is a full time permanent opportunity, office based.The Sub-Contract Ledger Administrator is an integral part of the finance team and will report directly to the Finance Manager. They will have full responsibility for the sub-contract ledgers both NI & ROI . The desired candidate will be outgoing, organised,intuitive, professional, tenacious, and effective. A people person with accountability and a strong work ethic.The Role:Process sub-contractor payment certs accurately and efficientlyDealing with queries and calls from sub-contractors as requiredRegistering new RCT contracts on ROS system for ROI operationsSetting up and verifying new sub-contractors with HMRCCompiling and processing the payment run for all sub-contract ledgersResponsible for the continuous integrity of all sub-contract ledgersProcess monthly expenses claims for all entitiesAttendance at weekly finance meeting to review deliverablesResponsible for maintaining the company fleet register for all entities to include MOT, servicing, tax and driver informationThe Person:At least 3 years previous experience in a similar positionExperience in construction/utilities sector essentialAble to work with minimum supervision, manage own workload, meet deadlines, prioritise, and deal with multiple demandsA positive approach to work with a solutions-based mindsetAbility to show initiative, support colleagues and multi-taskAbility to communicate effectively and build rapportThe Benefits:A competitive salary £28,000 to £30,000 per annumDiscretionary bonus schemeCompany pensionHealth insuranceThis role offers stability and the opportunity to join a successful and happy team environment.
