Job Description

Account Manager The Company:

The Role of the Account Manager:
  • You will be managing and selling audiology/hearing devices.
  • Selling to Opticians/Pharmacist & Pendant Audiology shops.
  • Selling hearing aids but also selling other products such as audiometers, battery packs.
  • An account management role but have the ability to build relationships and also proactively look for further accounts.
  • Working very closely with the Key Account Sales Manager & also building strong relationships with the distributor that sells their products.
  • You will also be available to assist the customers in their marketing of the products and assist them in making sure that their business is running smoothly etc.
  • Organise and attend, as agreed with the company and customer, sales seminars as required on a geographical area basis.
  • Ensure that all customers training requirements are met effectively.
  • Report weekly to the Independent Sales Manager regarding sales activities and submit monthly reports, on a formal basis, on sales activities, both on an individual customer basis and on a geographical area basis, following set processes.
The Ideal Person for the Account Manager:
  • Must have the ability to generate own business.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical product information.
  • Must hold an Audiology Degree or have a HCA / HAD Qualification.
  • Demonstrable skills in Interpersonal Communication, Negotiation, Business Acumen, Self-Management and Sales Strategy.
