Job Description

IT Support Engineer• Salary: c£25,000 DOE• Location: Crossgar• Job Type: PermanentWe are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) catering to the SMB market, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier IT solutions, including Microsoft 365 and Datto Kaseya.Our diverse client base spans from SMBs to Enterprise and Public sector clients, with services extending to Microsoft Azure, Security Operations, and BCDR. If you have a passion for IT support and a strong foundation in Microsoft technologies, we want to hearfrom you.Day to Day of the role:• Provide first-line support to clients, addressing helpdesk queries and resolving issues efficiently.• Manage and monitor backups, ensuring data integrity and security.• Implement and maintain security measures, including antivirus solutions.• Support and troubleshoot network-related issues, including TCP/IP networking, DNS, and VLANs.• Utilise RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) and PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools to deliver effective IT support.• Configure and support cloud-based systems, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Microsoft certified administrator in Microsoft 365 or Azure.• Solid experience in TCP/IP networking and a thorough understanding of DNS.• Good understanding of VLANs.• Proven experience in a 1st line support role.• Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools.• Significant experience configuring and supporting cloud-based systems.Benefits:• Competitive salary based on experience.• Opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team environment.• Exposure to a broad range of technologies and sectors.• Professional development and growth opportunities.To apply for the IT Support Engineer position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
