Hooper Ward strives to improve service users wellbeing, reduce risk and facilitate individual return to optimal functioning to fullyengage in their recovery.As an occupational therapy assistant you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist to complete elements of the occupational therapy process. This may include interventions on a group or individual basis both within the hospital and in thewider community, grading and adapting activities to suit individual strengths and needs and aspects of report-writing.The Occupational Therapy Team work within a multi-disciplinary team to drive forward programmes of recovery and rehabilitation. Our care pathways are evidence based with a focus on social inclusion and independent living skills.
