Job Description

Cygnet Health Care have been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.Cygnet Hospital Beckton, a leading provider of mental health services to women are seeking to employ a Funding & Payroll Administrator to assist in the collection and collation of important information that needs to be submitted to the Finance Department,as and when required. This includes patient funding data and payroll summaries for bank and perm staff.You will work 37.5 hour per week Monday to Friday and need to have at least 12months experience in a finance or compliance role.In return, you will receive a competitive salary and a range of benefits including free lunch, employee discount scheme, health cash plan, company pension scheme and a pleasant working environment that is easily accessible by car or public transport.Main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

  • Responsible for the daily checking and approval of the eCENSUS and ensuring that all areas needing authorisation have been picked up.
  • Ensure patient funding activity data is sent to the Finance Department on a daily basis.
  • Liaise effectively with Service Managers to ensure all relevant funding information / documentation is received within strict deadlines.
  • Ensure all new admissions have funding from outset
  • Maintain and update daily spreadsheet of all funding requests and forward to accounts department at the end of the month.
  • Provide Finance department with engagement, termination, change of circumstance forms and P45, P46 forms and medical certificates as per deadlines provided.
  • Processing payroll summaries from timesheets received.
  • Checking entries on the system for accuracy.
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries daily and Resolve Payroll Problems
  • Follow Cygnet Healthcare Policy and Procedures and maintain a level of service which meets Cygnet standards for the Finance Department
Were looking for people who have:
  • At least 12months experience in a finance or compliance role
  • Previous experience in payroll systems and dealing with disputes
  • GSCE A-C in English or equivalent.
  • Ability to create complete excel formulas and interpret data.
  • Intermediate level of MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure with competing deadlines without compromising the quality of work produced
  • The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • A dedicated team player who can also perform tasks independently
