An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Social work and Partnership to lead the social work liaison and the department on key outcome areas as follows:The provision of welfare support for those who use our service, provide the leadership and governance for robust safe guarding interventions and facilitate carers involvement with service provisions. The post holder must be able to demonstrate excellentleadership skills have a firm understanding and application of the Health & Social Care Act 2012, and related policies, proficient in the use of data to improve service within the department and able to build effective working alliances with key stakeholders.The Social work Team provides support to adults with mental health needs who are admitted to Cygnet Beckton nationally. The team deal with a variety of safe guarding concerns that may arise during care delivery/ therapy and provides a liaison role with externalpartners. The team also has a statutory duty to that decisions are made in the best interests of the service users.We are looking for a forward thinking leader to who is able to influence and drive evidence based improvements across the four services at CHB. The post holder needs to be highly skilled in developing others and leading change.. The successful candidatewill have sound experience in mental health or social care setting and have good time management skills and be able to work in a pressurised environment. Demonstrate an ability to provide support to staff at ward level as well as the senior management team.The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good IT skills, be reliable and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
