We currently have an exciting opportunity with one of the worlds largest multinational delivery service organisations, who are in urgent need of Export Administrator based in the Beckton area. This will be a long term temporary position, possibly PermanentRole: Export AdministratorLocation: Beckton, East LondonFull-time hours: 40 hours per weekPay rate: £11 per hourHours: 1 pm-8 pm Monday to FridayJob Purpose:Responsible for the completion of defined processes and procedures to the deadline, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant internal and external standards. Identifies anomalies as they arise and uses judgement based on rules and procedures to resolve. For complex issues, may escalate to senior team members.Key Responsibilities of the role:Performs defined procedures and processes with accuracy and completeness. Ensures time commitments and deadlines are met. Ensures ongoing compliance with defined Organisations processes and procedures, relevant legislation and external regulations, and predefined agreements. Ensures required approvals are sought throughout processes.Processes may include use of manual procedures or local or EMEA systems. Verifies data and completes procedural checks against predefined processes or criteria to ensure accuracy and quality. May make decisions relating to procedural checks, including situations where the outcome is not clearly indicated.Uses appropriate communication methods to understand and share information with customers, team members and other departmentsLiaising withRegular interaction with external customers,suppliers and vendor and occasionally with government agencies/ authorities, trade associations or similarEssential Skills for the role:Previous experience in administration at an international levelStrong Accuracy & Attention to DetailStrongMicrosoft Office & PC Skills ideally worked with systems in managing deliveries/parcels at international levelStrong Planning & Organizing SkillsPrevious experience in dealing with compliance and complex processesMust be able to pass a basic criminal disclosureThose with a logistics/Export background will be advantageousPlease note that we have a strict deadline for this position will be accepting applications until Monday 16/11/20 at 6 pmWe are continuously reviewing our applications so please do apply to be considered
