Job Description

As well as serving the communities of south London, we provide more than 50 specialist services for children and adults across the UK and beyond.What youll be responsible for:

  • Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for Bishopsgate Learning Centre.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Trusts learning management systems, posting events and learning activities and providing first-line support to users.
  • Liaise with designated trainers to ensure that sufficient training events are on offer and that regular subject matter and quality assurance reviews are undertaken.
  • Maintain the training environment; ensuring that rooms and equipment are set up and closed down each day. Keeping signage up-to-date and working with colleagues in L&D, Facilities and ICT to ensure equipment is fit-for-purpose.
  • Contribute to quality assurance activities including collecting user statistics, capturing user feedback and assisting with the development of local policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of training through team discussions and planning meetings.
  • Contribute to the promotion of training, including assisting with the maintenance and development of relevant Intranet and website pages and through social media.
Youll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
Youll have the following skills/experience:
  • Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Previous reception experience
  • Able to move equipment
  • Experience of minute taking
  • Excellent organisational/communicational skills
